Program - Day 1 - Friday, 7 April 2023

Time for a quick wash and tidy

6.00am to 8.30am - Breakfast

The day kicks off with a full hot and cold buffet breakfast in the Conservatory, located on the ground floor of the hotel. This charming room has a true sense of heritage, with exquisite décor and French doors opening out to the spectacular Glasshouse.

Daily Briefing

This will be the first of our Daily Briefings during which we outline the schedule for the day and take care of any administration issues.

Morning - Walking Tour/Puzzle of Toowoomba

This morning's activity will take the form of a walking tour of the Toowoomba CBD. Take in the beauty and history of the Garden City. Feel free to team up with others to complete the quiz.

Lunch

Our lunch venue is Kingfishers Cafe. Relax and enjoy fine food amongst a tranquil garden setting.. 

Afternoon - Free time

After lunch, your time is your own to check out some of the great sights around Toowoomba. Throughout Alfesta there will be various little fun activities (with prizes) you can join in during free time if you wish. 

Note: For those who have indicted interest in the Lockyer Valley Loop afternoon run being organised by Brent and Rob, they will provide more info during lunch (this run is not an official Alfesta activity).

Dinner

This evening, you can look forward to a seafood buffet at the Burke & Wills Hotel. Bring your dancing shoes as there will be a juke box! If you have advised dietary requirements with your booking, these will be accommodated.

In keeping with our location, tonights dress theme will be "Country" so throw on those checked shirts and jeans!
