Program - Day 2 - Saturday, 8 April 2023

Alfas are meant to drive!

6.00am to 8.30am - Breakfast

Rise and shine and join the other Alfisti for a full hot and cold buffet breakfast in the Conservatory, located on the ground floor of the hotel.

Daily Briefing

As usual, during the daily briefing we outline the schedule for the day and take care of any administration issues.

Morning - Observation Run

Today we will be heading off on our Alfesta Observation Run, finishing at our lunch venue. As is usual at Alfesta, the run will require keen observation skills and just a touch of problem solving.

The Ray Sharp Memorial Trophy is awarded to the winners of the observation run.

Lunch

A picnic lunch will be provided at the Observation Run destination. This will allow you to complete the run at your own pace without needing to aim for a set time for lunch.

Afternoon - Free time

After lunch, your time is your own to check out some of the great sights around Toowoomba.

Alternatively, you may wish to spend a little time cleaning your Alfa in preparation for the Show 'n Shine tomorrow. There are quite a few car wash businesses in Toowoomba, if you don't feel like doing it yourself, but check their websites for Easter opening times.

Dinner

Dinner this evening is at Muller Bros, famous for its churrasco (Brazilian Style BBQ).

The restaurant is located in a building dating back to the early 1900s and has been at various times a gun shop and hardware store, agents for Royal Enfield motorcycles, a second hand dealer, a seed distributor and a book store. Take a look at the wall out in the courtyard for holes in the brickwork made by the test fire of rifles in for maintenance at the gun shop.

If you have advised dietary requirements with your booking, these will be accommodated.

Note: While the event organisers have made every attempt to provide the latest information on this website, changes may occur to the actual Alfesta program.
